Nice to meet you, the name's Kate.
Short bios are not my fort, but here's something you'll need to know about me (in case you are interested):
- drawing and improving through drawing is my passion, the strongest one, the one that will remain till the end of the world and stuff. (when is the end, again?)
- I always regretted not attendig an art academy or drawing section of any sort. Learning by myself was no doubt helpful, but altogether frustrating - Really hard, sometimes. I still don't feel like an individual artist, still way to go, still so many things to learn about! But looking back, I also see how big improvements can be, and even if i don't have the qualification or enough free time, practice is a monstrous weapon, indeed! Each new day brings inspiration, I'm glad that i can devote myself to drawing whatever i please.
- I'm currently living in Moscow and studying for a Law degree - not sure if I want to choose corporate law or intellectual property later on. (The latter is more like a dream, you know, being an artist, and being able to protect your work, and help others as well) Well there is time to think it over..
- I have a British cat named Chesterfield and Ridgeback dog Jimbo-Farey, but this is only a part of my noisy family tree. (but the noisiest part of it, i suppose)
- Yes, it feelsl exactly like how a wise noble cat would feel towards a loud gigantic slobbery doggy running all around smashing things. Lol
- I am a bit of a photographer, practice the piano from time to time - the only pieces I play freely are "Continued story" from Code Geass, "Grief and sorrow" and some other by Toshiro Matsuda, "To Zankard" from FF, "Merry-go-round" from Howl's moving castle.. Also,. I love the Dance Revolution metal pad :D
- I won't talk about tastes in food. Talking about food is like reading about music. But yeah, i'm one hell of a sweet tooth.
- I am a member of the student council at the university, and it's the happiest, the most enjoyable and freaking awesome period of my life! Basically, we do projects of all sorts for students and for administation, we get experience in everything from public communication and self-motivation to time management and brainstorming. Getting ready for big life and so on))
- I love Japanese language and culture, especially manga. To be completely honest - this person is a manga freak of all genres and has become uber picky in matter of choosing what to read next. I hope to publish something myself too.
Personal Credo: You won't have a future unless you believe in one.
If you want something you seek for opportunities, if you don't - you seek for excuses.
My life is made of moments like the lyrics of that song - "oh Yeah, oh No.." Such a merry-go-round...
